This recent commission of ten bedtime stories for Miles Kelly included nine new stories written and illustrated by authors and artists especially hand-picked and commissioned by The Complete Works.

All the Picture Books were carefully designed and created to make bedtime an enjoyable experience. We also included one "hidden" icon on every page for children to find, making bedtime something to look forward to.

In this recent commission of eight classic tales, we ensured that the illustrations and easy-to-read text brought well-known favourites like Alice in Wonderland, The Wind in the Willows, The Secret Garden, Jungle Book and Peter Pan to life!

Specially written to appeal to young readers aged 3 to 6, we wanted to introduce these beloved stories to a new generation, encouraging a love of reading that will last a lifetime.

Each 24-page Picture Book has a different artist for a fresh and appealing look and one "hidden" icon on every page for the readers to find, adding to their interest and excitement.

The Complete Works produced these books for the independent children’s publishing company Miles Kelly as part of a range of classics, which also included eight sticker activity books and three treasuries.

As always, The Complete Works provided a remarkable and reliable service in that all 19 books were completed within four months – from the initial briefing to the delivery of the final files.

Created for an Indian publisher, these Picture Books were an original concept created by The Complete Works – children’s packagers to publishers worldwide.

Beautifully written and illustrated, these delightful stories will enchant small children from many different cultures. Proof of the creativity and diligence of The Complete Works shows in the production of a 160-page Classic Picture Book Treasury and two 80-page Treasuries, each containing the artwork and text from our range of Classic Picture Books. The Treasuries use the same artwork and text as our Classic Picture Books, but with entirely new layouts.

The 160-page Treasury used seven of the Classic Picture Book stories and the two 80-page Treasuries each used three, again with the same artwork and text, but with fresh new layouts.

Always one hundred per cent reliable in delivering high-quality books, The Complete Works was on top of the brief as soon as it was received. From start to finish, we communicated with the client throughout the commissioning process, keeping them informed and updated, always putting the client’s requirement first and foremost to produce books that would delight – both the client and young readers.

All titles were completed within four months – from receiving the brief to delivering the final files.

For three Bedtime Treasuries for the independent publisher, Miles Kelly, The Complete Works cleverly collated our Bedtime Stories Picture Books to enchant and captivate young children.

Using the artwork and text from our bedtime Picture Book series, the 160-page Treasury had seven of the original stories, along with several bedtime-focused nursery rhymes. However, the layouts were fresh and brand new, so the treasuries were not a direct copy of the individual Picture Books.

Each of the two 80-page treasuries used three Bedtime Picture Books and a selection of nursery rhymes. Again, brand new layouts were created and the whole project was completed within four months – from the briefing, the choosing of artists, the writing of the stories to the delivery of the final files.

The Old MacDonald Farmyard Tales treasury is a star performer in The Complete Works publishing list. Based on the enduring and charming nursery rhyme, “Old Macdonald Had a Farm”, with its repetitive refrain, children love listening to these stories time and time again.

Written in both stories and rhyme, children’s favourite farmyard animals appear throughout the book and across all the stories. This is children’s fiction that will last!

This collection of Goosefeather Farm stories is set on a fictional farm. The stories are fun with slightly off-the-wall characters and plots, complemented by bright, cheerful and quirky illustrations. The series comprises of six books and is a colourful addition to The Complete Works repertoire.
