The Classic Sticker Activity Books series formed part of a 19-book range for independent publisher, Miles Kelly. All 19 titles were completed from start to finish in the incredibly short time of just four months.
Produced in conjunction with the Classic Picture Book series and the Classic Book Treasuries, these titles used the same artwork, but it was cleverly reused to make up all the new and many varied pages.
The activities include matching puzzles, spot the difference, colouring, dot-to-dots, mazes, true or false quizzes, jigsaw puzzles and can you spot? All activities that children love.
We took the overarching storyline from the classics, such as Alice in Wonderland, Peter Pan and Black Beauty, and adapted them into a number of exciting activities to stimulate developing minds. In essence, these books were a simplified and easy-to-understand retelling of well-known stories – the books can also be enjoyed as a stand-alone range.

The Complete Works produced this 16-book series of highly successful Horrible Histories Sticker Activity Books for Scholastic UK, one of the world’s biggest and most successful publishers of children’s fiction and non-fiction.
Keeping an eye on the cost, while still ensuring the activity books were of excellent quality, The Complete Works used the original black and white artwork (where possible) and got it coloured. We then commissioned new artwork by Martin Brown to fill in the gaps. Terry Deary, one of the books’ creators, was commissioned to write new text.
